What is Grow Op?
A comedic, mockumentary-styled 30-minute episodic series about a pot dealer trying to start a legitimate, legal growing operation.
It’s about Kevin, the greatest pot dealer in Seattle. Nay…. the whole of the Pacific Northwest… who is trying to go legit, and there is a misfit video team that is trying to turn his process into a ‘reality show’.
The show is a mixture of documentary-style footage and traditional ‘narrative’ coverage, and weaves real-life stories into fictions that drive our characters’ development. The stories are situational plots with a comedic edge, and will be scripted in a fashion that allows the majority of the scenes’ dialogue to be improvised.
